About this deal

I love all things Ireland anyway, but Montefiore's writing makes me want to pick up and move right now. She has also co-authored the Royal Rabbits of London series with her husband, the historian and author Simon Sebag-Montefiore.

Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available in the UK from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or your Local Authority's Trading Standards Office. This adds to the enjoyment of this novel, as it feels like you are getting three stories in the one novel. I didn't understand their motivations and actions, some of the "love stories" were just weird and misplaced, and the plot twists were just. I was sorry to reach the end of The Daughters of Castle Deverill, as I now have to wait for the third and final chapter in the series. I absolutely loved Songs of Love and War (5-star read for me) but this 2nd in the trilogy didn't captivate me as much as Love and War did.

Shouldering the blame for running up debts that forced him to sell the family castle, JP is isolated and vulnerable. She has seeped her series deep in rich Irish history, she delivers a strong sense of place and presents the reader with a rich cast of main, as well as supporting characters. Castle Deverill, nestled in the rolling Irish hills, is home to three very different women: flame-haired Kitty Deverill , her best friend and daughter of the castle’s cook, Bridie Doyle , and her flamboyant English cousin, Celia Deverill .Me ha fascinado la capacidad de la autora para hilar todas las tramas y lo he amado de principio a fin. Some books are easy to read as a stand alone, but found on this occasion that it wasn't so easy to pick up the story.
