La edición es bastante buena, pero lástima que esté en blanco y negro, porque he hojeado la edición a color y es bastante bueno el coloreado. When I was looking over that script-reading scene, it occurred to me that the timing was almost Kurtzmanian; then I remembered that Kurtzman and Elder's Goodman Beaver take a similar shot at Brando, in the era when On the Waterfront made him a heartthrob.

He's been reading some form of comics since childhood and has been exploring the medium with enthusiasm for a decade. Wildly odd and entertaining as they join the army, the cub scouts, fall in love, blow stuff up, go to Hollywood and cause several deaths. One thing that stands out as particularly impressive is just how much Moore and Davis manage to cram into each of these stories. While I appreciated the tongue in cheek random violence of these characters, there was something a little too blunt about it for my tastes.

This time Quinch is narrating proceedings, and it’s a three part story where much to Ernest’s horror D.

Moore's gift for creating dialogue that sounds naturalistic was one of his biggest influences on the comicbook industry.

Their adventures take them time travelling throught Earth's history, into a warzone and into the dog-eat-dog world of Hollywood. This comedy of inter-galactic proportions is brought to you by comic book supremo Alan Moore ( V for Vendetta) and respected artist Alan Davis ( Uncanny X-Men). Given the nature of the strip, and the Chuck Jones comparison, it may seem odd to note the art has an occasional understated quality, but it does.Filling in the gaps in Alan Moore’s back catalog, I picked this up as a curiosity to find Moore at his silliest and most playful. All-in-all, looking back at these strips after a good few years, other than a few dated references, these stories are still as exciting and entertaining as ever. There are still some silly stories on occasion but all too often the comic is grim dark and it’s a shame there aren’t strips which are as inventive and playful as the very best of Moore’s scripts were.
