About this deal

It felt like maybe the author wrote it quickly and didn’t want to put thought into scenes outside of the two love birds. As well, there were a few times where Mauve or Weston would mention something that happened between the two of them, but it was like off the record. And when I come across him again senior year, it turns out that knowledge is even more dangerous than his suggestive smirk .

Second, I raise to you this: He deliberately made out with a girl he used to hook up with in front of the heroine in an attempt to HURT her because if he’s in pain (over some bullshit, I remind you), so should she…. I don't read a lot of YA anymore and there were a lot of situations in this book that reminded me why I don't, but despite that, I liked Wes and Maeve's relationship and there was a lot of cuteness. First, they never really talked about where they stood, he just ignored her, said some mad hurtful shit to her, then told her to leave. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Charlotte lives in Rhode Island and when she isn’t writing spends her free time reading, at the beach, or snuggling with her Australian Shepard. It wasn't that bad, per se, but the rival angle seemed a bit of a stretch, because while the couple's relationship was a secret, due to the rivalry and enmity between their two respective schools, the resolution of said conflict was rather softly-handled.

Don’t even get me started on how the misunderstanding was because someone made a move on the FMC without her consent. This book reminded me of the Off-Campus series, but much milder sex scenes - which really isn’t a bad thing at all! PLEASE TELL ME THAT IRL AMERICAN TOWNS ARE NOT SO OBSSESSED WITH HIGH-SCHOOL FOOTBALL AND THAT THE RIVALRY WAS JUST THE STUFF OF BOOKS? There was a healthy balance between all three storylines that successfully showed how each was vital to the other. The storyline didn’t need pages of intimacy being described as the character building was so good throughout, it was clear what was happening but easily brushed over.O relacionamento dos pais de cada um reflete muito bem o desenvolvimento e atitudes dos personagens principais, e eu me identifiquei bastante entre o relacionamento a Maeve e do Liam, e como é bem real o questionamento dela sobre como a felicidade dela preocupa sua relação com o irmão. I mean, yes, I knew what was going to happen all along, but jeez, I had no right being this entertained while reading about some small town football rivalry. A rivalidade entre as duas cidades foi estabelecida de um jeito que dá pra entender o porquê de ser algo difícil de combater e ao mesmo tempo uma coisa boba de existir.

As I started, it’s a bit YA (but more adult than most) but it does stay true to that vibe and had a lot more meat-on-the-bones than other stories. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. I wasn't really sure what to expect going in especially because I was getting Romeo and Juliet vibes from the synopsis, but I really enjoyed this book! One glimpse of her viridian eyes makes me forget about the decades-long rivalry between our two towns.

I resonated with this book, she was overlooked so much, put second when she was just as amazing as her brother. And "They're warm, nice people with big hearts" become "They're humid, prepossessing Homo sapiens with full-sized aortic pumps"? So, while it wasn't all that dramatic in pulling out the emotional punches, it was still a decent enough read. Just saying, if my boyfriend kissed a girl in front of me because he refused to listen and decided to believe the worst of me?Os personagens que agiram como conflito amoroso entre eles também foi muito bem desenvolvido e não pareceu uma "encheção" de salsicha como geralmente é em histórias assim. This was such a fun time, I was smiling so much it hurt and crying a bit at the end cause things got too real, and I didn't want it to be over.
