About this deal

there are even some more serious topics tackled, like homophobia/prejudice, setting this apart from a lot of the super fluffy GLs I've read with the 'yuri paradise' trend. I wasn't sure about the setup for this story since it seems like the kind of situation where someone would be taken advantage of, but the story ended up being a lot sweeter then I expected.

i didn’t know anything about this diving in and i’m just glad i didn’t have to pay for it because it read like a landlord’s sexual power fantasy passed off as “but i love her uwu” to excuse the multiple crimes happening. The sort of comfortable read you might like while curled up in warm blankets and wanting to just be warm and happy. I think in the states a lot of manga gets glossed over because it has a humorous, suggestive title, but once you actually give it a chance most of these stories are extremely raw and emotional underneath the goofiness. If you get chance to get your hands on a copy of this and the next two volumes I guarantee you will not be disappointed. while their situation does stem from that uncomfy start, hara does hold back and even stops koduka multiple times when she seems to be feeling overwhelmed. they even quickly move in together because of this, which is a weird predatory power imbalance that nearly ruins this.

After a workplace incident forced her to quit her job, Koduka ended up in a deep depression and three months behind on her rent. A 19 year old female landlord coerces a down on her luck, unemployed 24 year old female tenant into a relationship to work off back rent. By the end of the first Volume, Chiyo, who couldn't believe she would be into a woman, has started to come around to the idea and it seems as if in future Volumes they will most likely end up together.Did the landlady do something wrong by using her power to convince a drunk Chiyo to sleep with her while she was drunk? So this is clearly about to be some smutty book where an older woman is forced into trading sex for rent as she struggles to figure out her life… or is it? Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages.

Firstly the artwork is fantastic, story's a little unconventional but original and interesting, really fell in love with the main characters and ended up really rooting for them, how the artist can portray emotion is amazing. This series makes my heart melt; I already am a sucker for this type of contractual-connection trope, and the sweet circumstances of their relationships development actually left me feeling very swoony, not creeped out like the initial description may lead to you to believe. The manga was serialized in ASCII Media Works' monthly shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Daioh from June 2019 to February 2021. Then her landlady proposes an unusual solution: have sex with her, and she’ll help with the debt, the filthy apartment, and the loneliness driving Chiyo to beer and escapism. Regardless of the terrible reasoning of a 19 year old landlady using sexual favors as a means to pay back rent (although she often marks off parts of the debt for non intimate reasons too) I do like the chemistry between the landlady and Chiyo as they begin to do more together and fill the gaps they find lacking in their own lives as Chiyo discovers herself trying to be there more for the landlady as best she can. It's really fun and cute and if you get the chance I would suggest picking it up (but only my girls, gays, and theys)- I don't want no hetero boys sexualizing this too much cause I want to enjoy some silly lesbian shit pls and thanks. Koduka is slowing regaining confidence in herself and behind her icy facade, Landlady is a lonely woman who might be getting some light into her life. MY FAIR LANDLADYKoduka Chiyo, twenty-four years old and unemployed, provides "favors" for her landlady in place of her overdue rent. Towards the end, it is clear that Koduka starts to question if she has feelings for Hara, as she realizes after their kiss that she enjoyed it. This seems to be a week where books are pulling a fast one on me based on the expectations they’re setting with their descriptions.

Love blossoms when a landlady and her tenant form an unconventional arrangement in this popular yuri romance (originally known as Even If It Was Just Once, I Regret It). When the young landlady come for the 3 months of back rent Koduka Chiyo is not in her right mind having consumed far to much alcohol after quitting her job at a video game company. Did I see this at work and immediately put one to the side for myself because it had two females on the cover and was marketed as a slow-burn romance? I can't say too much more to avoid some spoilers but between the character interactions and nice art style I really enjoyed this book. Their growing relationship leads to questions of identity, getting one’s life together, and if something tender can develop from an arrangement that started with a bang.Change country: -Select- Afghanistan Albania Algeria American Samoa Andorra Angola Anguilla Antigua and Barbuda Argentina Armenia Aruba Australia Austria Azerbaijan Republic Bahamas Bahrain Bangladesh Belarus Belgium Belize Benin Bermuda Bhutan Bolivia Bosnia and Herzegovina Botswana Brazil British Virgin Islands Brunei Darussalam Bulgaria Burkina Faso Burundi Cambodia Cameroon Canada Cape Verde Islands Cayman Islands Central African Republic Chad Chile China Colombia Comoros Cook Islands Costa Rica Cyprus Czech Republic Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) Democratic Republic of the Congo Denmark Djibouti Dominica Dominican Republic Ecuador Egypt El Salvador Equatorial Guinea Eritrea Estonia Ethiopia Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) Fiji Finland France Gabon Republic Gambia Georgia Germany Ghana Gibraltar Greece Greenland Grenada Guam Guatemala Guernsey Guinea Guinea-Bissau Guyana Haiti Honduras Hong Kong Hungary Iceland India Indonesia Iraq Ireland Italy Jamaica Japan Jersey Jordan Kazakhstan Kenya Kiribati Kuwait Kyrgyzstan Laos Latvia Lebanon Lesotho Liberia Liechtenstein Lithuania Luxembourg Macau Macedonia Madagascar Malawi Malaysia Maldives Mali Malta Marshall Islands Mauritania Mauritius Mayotte Mexico Micronesia Moldova Monaco Mongolia Montenegro Montserrat Morocco Mozambique Namibia Nauru Nepal Netherlands Netherlands Antilles New Zealand Nicaragua Niger Nigeria Niue Norway Oman Pakistan Palau Panama Papua New Guinea Paraguay Peru Philippines Poland Portugal Puerto Rico Qatar Republic of Croatia Republic of the Congo Romania Rwanda Saint Helena Saint Kitts-Nevis Saint Lucia Saint Pierre and Miquelon Saint Vincent and the Grenadines San Marino Saudi Arabia Senegal Serbia Seychelles Sierra Leone Singapore Slovakia Slovenia Solomon Islands Somalia South Africa South Korea Spain Sri Lanka Suriname Swaziland Sweden Switzerland Taiwan Tajikistan Tanzania Thailand Togo Tonga Trinidad and Tobago Tunisia Turkey Turkmenistan Turks and Caicos Islands Tuvalu Uganda United Arab Emirates United Kingdom United States Uruguay Uzbekistan Vanuatu Vatican City State Vietnam Virgin Islands (U.
