About this deal

Coming from a very ancient technique, this folding method applied to this kettle is undeniably similar to the one that you can find on haute couture clothes. The matt finish is fine and the design is good but it looks so plasticky (apologies - appreciate this isn't a word but the best way I can describe). It’s now the leading figure in the field of Italian design, known and appreciated for its skilful mediation between intriguing expressions of creativity and the needs of the public. It also looks great, I don’t feel the need to try and hide it away - I like seeing it on my counter tops and everyone always notices it and admires it. Open to change and international development, Alessi at the same time has a strong bond with the traditions and cultural background of its area and continues to be synonymous with handcrafted objects produced with the help of machines.

It is this ability to challenge norms and think outside the box that has made Alessi a trendsetter in the design industry. The user data collected is anonymous for us and thus does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the user identity.PACKAGING: Proposed in a packaging with recycled cardboard, decorated with an original sketch by the author. Elegant down to the smallest details, Plissé is available in black or white and its power supply base has been hidden inside of the kettle.

As well as a sleek design and minimalist features, the kettle is made from thermoplastic resin, making the product highly recyclable so that you won't have to compromise style for sustainability. Logistics of goods across the globe is proving challenging but be assured that we are working hard daily to reduce the impact as much as we possibly can. With its elegant pleated lines, like a haute couture dress, it is dedicated to fans of timeless shapes in design, art, and fashion.Designed by Michele De Lucchi, Plissé kettle combines functional aspects with a plastic and fascinating design that reveals the creator's architectural background, as well as his passion for the handicraft and for sculpture. The company is committed to a design approach in which the most advanced expression of international creativity is always balanced against the desires of the general public.

He was appointed Officer of the Italian Republic for services to design and architecture and has been nominated Professor at the Design Faculty of the Politecnico of Milan and Member of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca in Rome. I bought to replace the Stelton Emma kettle so I like a good looking kitchen product but this doesn't do it for me. For instance, their "Juicy Salif" citrus squeezer, designed by Philippe Starck, resembles a spaceship rather than a traditional kitchen tool. From stainless steel kitchen utensils to eye-catching home décor items, Alessi's range of products spans a wide spectrum. I’ve had this now for 6 months and not only is it stylish and lightweight it can cope with the copious amounts of tea me and my family drink.

A filter hidden inside the spout prevents limescale particles from finding their way into your drink. An haute couture accessory… Plissé is an electric kettle made from thermoplastic resin characterised by pretty folds which give it a particularly chic form. Chiaramente lo stile non ne giustifica il prezzo ma non è il classico bollitore da tenere nascosto in un mobile da cucina, fa scena anche se lo lasciate in vista. com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646).
