About this deal

Which makes this perfect for work or occasions you don’t want to have a loud fragrance but want to smell good ! It's an unlikely fragrance for a first review, but somehow it's a scent very well suited to the weather at the moment - gloomy, chilly and windy. As stated by others before me this is not anything new or earth-shaking, but it is a very good scent that is fresh without being aquatic, warm but not too spicy, slightly floral without the usual overdose of lavender and earthy yet not dirty, musky or overly woody. Founded in 1925 by Hugo Boss for clothing launching purpose, Hugo Boss is a German luxury fashion house.

The highlights are the top and heart, which last the first two hours are dominated by the well blended pink pepper and citrus. This one settles to something far less interesting, a lightly spiced soapy vibe of vetiver and geranium but with a bitter muskiness. But after one week something in it made everything boring and dull , may be because it was not dynamic , remained linear all through. It’s definitely a time I’m wearing them, and Hugo Boss Selection is an eau de toilette which I love to wear. It’s a kind of clean office smell, something you can walk into work wearing and people will know you smell good without over powering them.

It does not overpower, but at the same time, there is no mistaking that it is making its presence felt. Im not saying that its gonna happen on everyone's skin, i mean the same scent lasted for like 4 to 5 hrs on my friend. You can always check out more of my perfume reviews if you’re looking for a new scent or just want a catch up on the latest fragrance reviews here at Michael 84. I agree with "Collector" and "Slipcat" here - it is classy, the scent is more solid, lasts stable and longer than nearest analogue - Chanel "Allure pour homme" (and not so musky).I say that because I liked the opening then I hated the mid of this fragrance and now it's dried down to a whimpering skin scent it actually smells really good. However I could see how someone would like this, it's got that basic "clean, fresh" smell to it, although it's not aquatic or summery. We’re The Fragrance Warehouse; the retailer here to provide you with the latest fragrances and cosmetics. The problem is it's barely there, I have to say it peaked my interest, transitioning absolutely so that's something at least. Sweetness and spicy touch is ok but not all through the day , it should have some changes , which it lacks.

It seems that Selection borrows many nuances from many different fragrance genres of the late 90s and early 2000s and tries to combine them into 1 fragrance and although this isn’t the most striking scent I do say it’s well blended and has accomplished that ! Eau de Toilettes use slightly fewer oils than an Eau de Parfum, which contributes overall to the lighter scent. We chose to review Hugo Boss Selection as it's a favourite of allbeauty staff that doesn't always get the limelight. AQUA/WATER/EAU, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, LIMONENE, LINALOOL, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, CITRONELLOL, GERANIOL, HYDROXYCITRONELLAL, EUGENOL, CITRAL, CINNAMAL, BHT, EXT.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. Surprisingly, what I go out of it was warm citrus that doesn't feel cloying or one dimensional, but rather subtle and refined, hence the description which this scent fits perfectly. Had Hugo Boss carried on from their trifecta of Number One, Hugo For men and Bottled, they might have been far more respected today. The woody drydown is made of patchouli, vetiver, cedarwood, heliotrope and transparent musky notes, all together accentuating the masculine character of this fragrance.
