These are supplied in granular, liquid and in powdered formats depending on the brand and the type of use. This feed helps to protect the plant against box blight, nutrient deficiency and bugs, which Buxus plants are susceptible to. Mulch each spring with a thick mulch of well-rotted organic material such as homemade compost, leaf mould or well-rotted manure. An organic approach is always best and you may not need to do any more than mulching when growing box trees in the ground.
