About this deal

Not that I'm an expert in binoculars (see above), all I know is they look and feel amazing and that's before you look through the lens, rain guard end. The binoculars also feature a central focusing wheel that allows for smooth and accurate adjustments, ensuring crisp and clear views of astronomical objects. It also is a single piece, without the flexible bridge found on many others, so other than the eyecups moving inside of it, it does not really accommodate the different Inter-Pupillary Distances that you may have the bin set at. Celestron’s SkyMaster 25x70's are powerful large aperture binoculars that are phenomenal value for high performance binoculars ideal for astronomical viewing or for terrestrial (land) use - especially over long distances.

SkyMaster Pro binoculars are the ideal choice for amateur astronomers or anyone that observes at great distances. Large 70mm objective lenses for excellent light-gathering capabilities: The binoculars’ large objective lenses are highly praised for their ability to gather ample light. The tripod adapter is a valuable accessory that ensures steady views, especially at higher magnifications. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . Rather than pull out all the telescope gear, these binoculars do a fantastic job for planets and stars.

At 25x magnification, this equates to an apparent field of view of 61 degrees, which is fairly immersive if not super wide. Now, Celestron is using that same technology to allow star gazers to connect to the night sky and enhance their experience of the cosmos in fun and unique ways. Durable aluminum construction for long-lasting performance: The sturdy aluminum build of the SkyMaster 25×70 binoculars is celebrated by users for its durability and longevity. I will say that unlike the best, there is no ratchet, or locking mechanism to prevent unwanted adjustments and if your personal difference between your eyes is extreme, it will mean that the right eyepiece will be up to about 1mm nearer, or further (depending on the direction you need to turn it) to your face than the left.

The rainguard or the eyepiece cover, like the objective lens covers is made from a soft rubber, but unlike those, it does not fit as well and easily comes away from the lenses. Are the SkyMaster 25x70 binoculars good for imaging and observing, or would you recommend another pair? Celestron do not state what materials they use to construct the main chassis from, but as they are exposed, it is easy to see that the bridges are made from a type of metal.

It’s ideal binoculars for adults bird watching, hunting, camping, climbing, hiking, safari, travel, opera, concert, sports events, and stargazing. Porro prisms on the other hand do not need phase correction coatings and because you get total internal reflection of the light waves, you do not need to add highly reflective coatings to it's surfaces and so they perform as well as much more expensive roof prisms. There is no argument that these and indeed most other astronomy binoculars are big, indeed with their 70mm objectives, I describe the as being "Giant Binoculars" and are much bigger than "Full Sized" ones.
