About this deal

One of the most famous albums in rock history, Pink Floyd’s 1973 juggernaut ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ gets a new remaster to mark half a century since its release. As someone already said, there is a lot of packaging and the box is much bigger than the usual vinyl box sets. My only minor niggle is that a cd that is in a cardboard sleeve maybe could do with being sent out in sturdier packaging. Now that they have announced that the last 2 main pieces are being released separately the only thing left is the 2 vinyl singles that are both on the album and don't even appear in picture sleeves. First released as part of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ 50 th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new mix of the classic album will be available on its own in physical formats.

I don’t understand some of the negative feedback Chalkys get - I have never had any problem and would absolutely recommend them. I bought a Roksan Attessa in the sales and thought I would christen it with a new LP and well it just had to be Dark Side of the Moon.Pink Floyd have a rich history of collaborating with animators from the beginnings of the band (Ian Emes, Gerald Scarfe, etc. Having waited this long, I had wondered whether the story that MFSL has accidentally erased the original Master tape was true. He said to his mystified colleagues that it was like a DB9 where every little piece is a little bit better. On 19 January 2023, a video was uploaded to Pink Floyd's YouTube channel, featuring Nick Mason announcing the Dark Side animation competition.

My original vinyl is more than a bit worn, and although I have a CD, a new, crisp, clean, and dust and scratch free version 12-inch is most welcome. You've Got It Made With All The Toys') features the previously unheard ‘Shadow Man (Vocal And Piano Mix)', an alternative stripped back mix of the Toy album track, along with the unreleased live versions of ‘I Dig Everything' and ‘The London Boys’. So while I'm sick to see yet another release of what was a brilliantly recorded album originally, for me, it came down to this. First released as part of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ 50th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new remaster of the classic album will be available on its own on LP, CD, and Blu-ray.It promises to be immersive; an all-encompassing surround sound and visual treat that will transcend reality and take you way beyond the realms of 2D experience. For anyone who already owns Dark Side on vinyl, all you're really paying for is that incremental improvement. The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. One of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' celebrates its 50th anniversary. la pochette fait penser a du "soft touch" c'est agreable mais attention aux doigts gras qui laisseront des traces !
