About this deal

You get to see him working on Two Evil Eyes, Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead too and there’s a lengthy ‘Dead’ reunion section towards the end.

Following the Video Nasties scandal and the introduction of the VRA in 1985; the company went under. After choosing the scenes and takes he wanted, he had those alone developed into 35mm prints for the master reels. The management works very hard to make sure the community is running the best software, best designs, and all the other bells and whistles. As much action and carnage as 300, but with a great cast of characters that actually play well off of each other. Also moderated and effectively fed by Perry Martin for the same Anchor Bay DVD release, this is a worthwhile companion to the above, with Rubenstein's openly confessed lack of artistic input to the project giving him a different perspective on the production to Romero and his colleagues. Extras: Language(s): English, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Interactive Menu, Behind the Scenes, Bonus Footage, Commentary: George A. Realising they might be on to a good thing, they decide to hold up for a while and plan their next move.

It's a horror masterpiece that uses the horde of mindless walking dead as a stark, poignant satire on modern consumerism, but what continues to interest me most of the film four decades later is society's insatiable hunger for purchased goods.

What I found interesting, watching the film now, was how much of it reminded me of the current COVID situation.
