About this deal

Well, according to the commentary, it was the Ergon which was Giger-inspired, which I can see, even if it was very poorly realised.

For the week that ended on April 1st, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Plane topped the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its debut. In saying that, there is plenty of entertainment to be had and there is ultimately one of the best stories in The Five Doctors, a 20th anniversary special which could be considered slightly cheeky as Tom Baker declined to be in it and other footage inserted from Shada. Hours of special features previously released on DVD including Documentaries, Featurettes, Audio Commentaries, The Five Doctors 1995 Special Edition and more.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Where you have purchased the goods or services as a consumer (for private use as opposed to business use), please note that you are entitled to cancel any contract completed with us within 14 days of receipt of the goods or services. Each disc also features extensive Special Features previously released on DVD including: Making Of Documentaries, Featurettes, Audio Commentaries, Info Text, Isolated Music and more. The packaging is incredible and each edition contains so much additional material (as well as the cleaned up episodes themselves).

If you come across an infringement of BBC copyright
or trade mark that you would like to report please e-mail antipiracy at bbc dot com with as much information as possible.

This set also includes hours of special features previously released on DVD including documentaries, featurettes, audio commentaries, The Five Doctors: Special Edition, and more. Kamelion accepts, though the character itself would only be seen again in Season 21's antepenultimate serial, Planet of Fire.

Season 20 was notable for being the 20th Anniversary season of Doctor Who, with Producer John Nathan-Turner and script editor Eric Saward looking back at the Doctor’s rogue gallery and bringing them back to the forefront. A notable guest star for the story is Martin Clunes in his television debut, playing the son of the planet’s Federator (one who rules over their federation), a bored and surly type who also becomes a surrogate for the Mara.

The shots of it later on, with Tegan in the TARDIS, looked bad - the Ergon's chicken head looked foolish. The TARDIS, meanwhile, has brought the Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan to a space station trapped in a warp ellipse. It’s an ambitious story that takes place in Amsterdam, a rarity for Doctor Who, and on Gallifrey, which hadn’t been seen in such a scale since Season 15’s The Invasion of Time. A previously-unreleased look at the iconic 1983 convention, plus panels featuring Peter Davison, Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee and many more.

The Five Doctors, meanwhile, also saw a Dalek, Yeti, and Cybermen making appearances alongside reappearances from classic companions like Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen), Susan (Carole Ann Ford), and Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart (Nicholas Courtney), doubling up from a last-minute appearance in the main season. Snakedance and The King’s Demons were released after a change in the BBC logo and as such had reversable covers.Radio Times clippings were present on all the original DVD releases of Arc of Infinity to The King’s Demons. By using this service you thereby indemnify this Company, its employees, agents and affiliates against any loss or damage, in whatever manner, howsoever caused. Revisiting the story now the flaws are more apparent – the anti-matter monster known as The Ergon is a forgettable foe, and the Amsterdam setting – though nice – doesn’t add much to the story except a holiday for the cast and JNT.
