Every gel pack comes complete with a soft cover to prevent burns or frostbite that may occur with no cover. All you need to do is warm the pack in the microwave, or chill it in the fridge/freezer, and mould it over the area of pain: the thermal gel inside the pack does the rest. I originally purchased the Hypagel reusable hot and cold pads for post-surgery recovery from my wisdom tooth extraction. Heat should not be applied directly after injury, you have to wait for the swelling to die down before treating with heat therapy.
We can usually despatch these items within the UK with no problems but any transport by air will pick up on the restricted items, this usually includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey (although classed as UK) and Ireland. Excellent for non-inflammatory rheumatic complaints such as sciatica, lumbago, muscle ache and muscle tension.During the hot therapy treatment, the blood vessels expand, increasing circulation and the flow of healing oxygen and nutrients to the injury.
