About this deal

Okay, it was going to be hard for the transition between what I feel is the first and second halves of the Film (That's pre and post karaoke people for who have already watched the film) but Sofia probably had to put her much loved Pheonix into the film of her career. Featuring original compositions as well as songs from Squarepusher, Air, Death In Vegas, Phoenix and The Jesus And Mary Chain, it earned the soundtrack’s supervisors and curators Brian Reitzell and Kevin Shields a BAFTA nomination. Shields’ My Bloody Valentine made an appearance on the soundtrack too (‘Sometimes’) alongside four more of his own compositions. Do not understand why the RSD version, which was in a not-all-that-limited run of 8K and by all accounts isn't spectacular-sounding, is still so much more expensive than this release, but that's collecting for ya.

My only complaint is it isn't longer, I wouldn't say it's essential, in my opinion, it's still very good but feels slightly out of place. It's another beautiful song, I feel it's a little basic, it repeats a lot, I think he's trying to achieve the Brain Eno effect, but it's not a bad job either.Kevin Shields) - This plays near the end of the film when Bob is close to leaving Tokyo for good, and Charlotte slips a note under the door which is the song name. Sofia Coppola,Kevin Shields and the whole music team managed to pick and create music that is charming and romantic, but lifts the film from a Romantic Comedy to a Drama. Saying no will not stop you from seeing our ads, but it may make them less relevant or more repetitive. Sometimes (My Bloody Valentine) - A very interesting song, I've read the lyrics and still don't understand what it's about - lost love?

Lost In Translation was the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola’s Academy Award winning movie of the same name. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, but they have darkened the cover to the point of the Scarlett image being illegible. This will be a very honest review of each song on the soundtrack, and whether or not you should spend your cash on the whole CD, or just individual MP3 songs - long story short, every song is unique and this deserves to be bought, but you're reading this for a reason. The soothing ballad drenched in distortion against a bed of acoustic guitar captures the sentiment of Lost In Translation effortlessly.I have to give it 5/5 overall, the good songs far outweigh the ones not as good, even though they're still excellent to listen to.

Too Young (Phoenix) - Having never heard of the band before, it initially sounded out of place, but on repeated listens it reveals its genius.Directed by Sofia Coppola, Lost In Translation follows a fading movie star who forms an unlikely connection with a young woman in Tokyo. People have said the song reminds them of lost relatives, it's the song they want played at their parents/friends/etc funeral. I bought an older hardcopy of the soundtrack, without consulting the digital playlist listing and so did not know there was a hidden track, so it was a surprise to find it, which is a sample of Bill Murray singing "More Than This" from a scene in a karaoke bar in the film. In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases.

The songs fit so perfectly with the film, I'd like to know who was in charge of selecting them because they have exceptional taste. The soundtrack was supervised by Brian Reitzell and was released on September 9, 2003, through Emperor Norton Records and then for RSD2019. Again it's too short, far too short in this case, an extended version on Youtube wouldn't go amiss *hint hint*.
