About this deal

The exterior is incredibly bold with its eye-catching, all-black colour scheme which ensures your build is always the center piece of any optimised gaming setup. Finance is only available to permanent UK residents aged >18, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. You can actually see that there are steel or metal strips that are attached to the side panels that hold your dust filters otherwise they don’t stick. The rear panel with three expansion slots offers free options for the graphics card and is suitable for the installation of mini-ITX mainboards.

With that motherboard extension installed it does actually cover up the rubber grommets, and it actually looks a bit cleaner and it does not interfere with all your cable exits. This is true up to the point that I started building the final system, which uses two 360mm radiators and an ATX motherboard. In terms of fan placement I have one at the bottom for intake for of the GPU, one on the side for intake, and one for rear exhaust.Even the best modern SFX power supplies are going to create more heat and noise than a quality ATX unit. The O11 Dynamic Mini accepts Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and E-ATX motherboards and up to nine 120mm fans. Of course, that shouldn’t be too surprising as the bottom intake of the case blows directly on the GPU. Make sure that all the notches on these removable plates are actually inserted into the frame when they are fully installed, otherwise they might bulge. Fans can be mounted to the roof and there is space beside the motherboard to attach a radiator as well as a second radiator to the bottom of the case.

Lian Li takes a different approach which few do and incorporates the material into the entire design of the case and make look decent at the same time.

I would have gladly sacrificed another millimeter or two of width to allow for full size ATX PSUs to fit in the chassis. As already mentioned the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini is an extremely versatile case, this is due to an innovative back panel, which has expansion slots that can be adjusted depending on users' requirements. The extra space allows for superior cooling solutions, including a roof-mounted 360 or 280 radiator. Sharing the bold O11 Dynamic range aesthetic, the aluminium panels have a brushed finish to complete the modern yet classic look. Ten years ago if you wanted a case in this size range you would have been limited to something like the Thermaltake Lanbox Lite (about 30 liters) which had a maximum CPU cooler height of around 90mm, and accepted one 90mm intake fan and two 60mm exhaust.

Initially it was rather disappointing, but once the latest driver was installed it was quite impressive. For that side radiator mount you can do fans outside of the frame, so closer to the side panel and have a thicker radiator on the inside of the main chamber. it will accommodate some of the biggest air coolers around (I am running a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 in mine with room to spare) but also has plenty of space for an AIO or full custom loop water cooling. The durable tempered glass allows for easy and carefree maintenance and for showing off the internal components. My best friend’s son came to me a few weeks ago wanting to build a new PC, and talked about wanting to get into water cooling. With GPUs traditionally taking up a third of your gaming PC budget, it stands to reason that it is a component to show off. I had prefer the SSDs and storage to be separate from everything else you have to route in terms of cables. There is some space for cable routing under the right panel, and even the power supply (SFX/SFX-L) is positioned in such a way that it'll make you wonder how it all works.

I would say storage is a slight limitation with the Mini, just because we have the 2 drive caddies and 2 SSD mounts on the cable cover. Not really to my taste; I prefer the understated looks of the old Lian Lis where everything (including the rubber feet, and plastic fan grills) were made from anodized AL but this is a nice looking case. The keyboard and mouse section (when selected), is positioned securely in a compartment underneath the computer. Keeping in mind the good ventilation inside the case, the bottom and rear panels now feature a honeycomb design, while the top and right-side panels both feature small round holes. At TechNextDay, we’re not only a seller of PC components, but also a partner in your passion for computing. It’s amazing to think of how many varying configurations of hardware and cooling that can be configured in a case that is this small. You do have two colour choices, but I will say that the white finish on this enclosure doesn’t feel premium, it just feels like steel. The number of PCIe slots is three/five/seven, depending on which back panel you choose (and on the motherboard size). In case the GPU overlaps with the side radiator mount don’t worry you can still mount a traditional 25mm radiator in that spot and still have plenty of room to spare.
