About this deal

Recorded in Los Angeles with producer John Feldmann (the Used, All Time Low, Plain White T's), who previously helmed most of the group's debut album, Sounds Good Feels Good also finds the group collaborating with a handful of like-minded if slightly older artists, including Good Charlotte's Benji and Joel Madden, All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth, and others. Most of the songs on this cd can make you either smile or provide opportunity enough to dance and jump about.

We’ve written about a lot of different things on this album because we’re older and we’ve experienced more of life, so we’ve got more to talk about.

The band really listen to and engage with their fans, clearly paying attention to their demands, whilst writing about what they feel is important.

Kerrang hailed it as a "killer new album" and gave it four K's, noting, "Opener 'Money' explodes into one of the biggest anthems of the year. Both tracks are heart-wrenchingly beautiful and the unique voices of all 4 boys make for two emotional and, in my opinion, flawless songs. Sounds Good Feels Good sees the band collaborate once again with rock veteran John Feldmann (All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls), who executive produced the new, adrenaline fueled album. The album cover was designed by Richard Andrews, who created the album cover for 5 Seconds of Summer's last two projects – 5 Seconds of Summer and LiveSOS.Overall creating an incredible album that I believe will define their sound for the foreseeable future.

stars out of 5 -- "Their second LP shows off their musical knowledge and ambition without getting in the way of their own preternatural adorableness. It's 5SOS' attempt to find community in their new sound and those who support it, a concept that lives both on the record and well outside of it. I would perhaps hate any song that was rude enough to wake me up every morning, especially if someone else chose the tune that was to be forced upon me.Sounds Good Feels Good sees the band collaborate again with rock veteran John Feldmann (All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls), who executive produced the new, adrenaline-fueled album. I love that it deals with so many personal issues that teenagers suffer nowadays, it's seriously a very deep album and to cure, I admire them too much for having written a gem like this. Along with being the band’s longest album, it contains their longest song to date, “Outer Space/Carry On”.
