Between years 2 and 3, you can undertake the year-long Diploma in Creative Computing. This will develop your skills in creative computing alongside your degree. After successfully completing the diploma and your undergraduate degree, you’ll graduate with an enhanced degree: BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Embroidery (with Creative Computing). We’re sending a collection of art into space with the hope that aliens will someday discover it. You’re asked to contribute a piece of embroidery. What do you make and why? I would look at creating a large embroidery of animals doing human activities. I think it would be fun and certainly confusing if nothing else. 😀 Imagine their surprise when they finally reach earth.

Home fees are currently charged to UK nationals and UK residents who meet the rules. However, the rules are complex. Find out more about our tuition fees and determining your fee status. Born and raised in Poland, the slightly eccentric (yet wonderfully talented) artist moved to New York to pursue a degree in cultural studies, which is where she discovered her passion for crochet. She has since exhibited collections around the world, known for her unique style of “crochet graffiti” art (also known as “yarn bombing”). Seeing no need to separate life from art, Olek can typically be found “in her Brooklyn studio with a bottle of spiced Polish vodka aggressively re-weaving the world as she sees fit.”
